Block D – Venting, Combustion and Make-Up Air

Trends

Balanced flues are becoming more predominant. Equipment is becoming more efficient resulting in lower stack temperatures. Building envelopes are becoming tighter requiring a more in-depth knowledge of air supply and venting. Due to lower stack temperature and new building design and construction, new venting materials are entering the marketplace.
